Cake Photography 101
How to Take and Edit Better Photos of Cakes, Other Menu Items
There's nothing worse than working hard on a project that looks gorgeous in person, but crappy online! Bad lighting and distracting items in the background are a great way to make a beautiful cake or sweet treat look unappetizing (or even worse) unprofessional.
Since most customers will come into contact with your business online through social media or via your website, it is safe to say that great cake & sweets photography is more important than ever. The great news is that most sweet pics just require a few simple tweaks to go from "Nice job." to "That looks great! How can I place an order!?!"
Join this 3 hours training that discusses steps to take before and after your picture taking sessions to help improve the look of sweet images shot with a phone or camera. In this class, you will learn from freelance, published Cake Photographer Cyd Mitchell tips on lighting, selecting backdrops, using editing apps, photo styling, and other techniques to improve the quality of your pictures immediately following class.

"I absolutely LOVED the wealth of information Cyd has provided with this course! It has been a very long time since I've taken a basic photography class, but we never reviewed ANY of the information provided in this course. I am so glad I was able to join this class and learn the CORRECT way of taking a photograph to showcase my products on each platform(website, social media, blogs, etc.). I enjoyed the key factors that affect a good or a bad photo and which settings to adjust to make the product stand out for the consumer's interest. Cyd is very knowledgeable in every business aspect of what her clients go through and that is awesome!"
