What did you do with your first quarter?

14 March 2018

Can you believe we are here? Well, kinda- sorta.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but we're close to ending the first quarter.

Do you remember New Year's Eve? Remember the vision board parties? I bet you even ran into Michaels (with a coupon hopefully) and bought a beautiful, shiny new planner. Then, you sat down and mapped a ton of goals, ideas and dreams for yourself this year.

Don’t worry, you were not alone.

Like most people, the beginning of the year brings about a certain amount motivation to get "issh" done. The problem is while a lot of us are writing, most people do not put dates on whatever dreams or goals we have. This is where quarters come in!

What I've found helpful in the past is to break down my goals and commitments into quarters.

There four quarters in a year (i.e. 3 months = one quarter). Therefore, when one quarter ends, a new quarter begins.

To me this is like getting that "New Year's Eve vibe" every 3 months.

It's a fresh start! It's another chance to recommit to what we started (just in case some goals need a new deadline) or another chance to create completely new goals.

Where do we go from here?

With us being in the middle of March, I now ask you..."what did you do with your quarter?"

Did you want to rebrand your business? Did you want to increase your clientele and get more orders? Whatever the case, you should look at April as a chance for a new beginning.

Review the goals you set for yourself. Compare strategies to achieve those goals, and work on making each quarter the most productive quarter of the year. Remember, at the end of the day the only thing holding us back from achieving whatever we desire, is ourselves and our mindsets.

Oh...and for those who need help figuring out how to refocus their business and redefine their Sweet Business brand...we had a great Rebranding Masterclass in the Sugar Coin Academy not too long ago. The video below is a snippet from the class.
